  • Director/Producer- Barak Laub

    Barak first went to India and Nepal in 2008, he spent just over 10 months in South East Asia before moving to Germany to study Political Science and Linguistics at Goethe Universitat. He later attended Columbia University in New York. After graduating he returned to South Asia to film Volunteers Needed, with Raymond. When not working on Volunters Needed he consults on digital start ups, works with MCSO Search and Rescue and enjoys hiking and trail running with his wife and dog.

  • Director/Producer- Raymond Steege

    Born in Monterey and now based in Los Angeles, Raymond is a filmmaker committed to storytelling with purpose. With experience working on commercials for renowned brands like Apple, BMW, and Nike, as well as contributions to music videos and HBO Documentary Films, Raymond's work spans a diverse range of projects.

  • Editor- David Polsdorfer

    David Polsdorfer is a documentary/news editor and writer based in New York City. As a post production professional, his notable projects include Power Trip (ABC News/Hulu), The Innocence Files (Netflix), and Tickling Giants (Starz). His fiction can be found at Dead Sea Press, and Everyday Fiction if you look hard enough. He is a graduate of Columbia University and a former member of the United States Navy. As a veteran of Operating Enduring Freedom (2011), he is very familiar with the path of good intentions.

  • First Assistant Camera - Michael Falkenstein

    Michael studied computer science at Columbia University and was heavily involved in theatre. He went into filmmaking as he sees it as the intersection of art and technology. After graduation from Columbia University, he worked on the technology of Frozen 2, as well as Call of Duty: Vanguard. He is currently pursuing his Masters in Computer Science.

  • Legal - Ryan Mackintosh

    Ryan is a distinguished privacy and transactional attorney with a fervent commitment to social justice, particularly in combating orphanage tourism and child trafficking. Leveraging his extensive legal expertise, Ryan works pro bono with Volunteers Needed to safeguard vulnerable children from exploitation and abuse. Ryan’s dedication extends beyond the courtroom; he tirelessly advocates for policy reforms and supports grassroots initiatives, making significant strides towards protecting children's rights and dignity worldwide.
